This webinar is designed to offer pediatric clinicians an opportunity to observe a dynamic hands-on, evidenced based approach to intervention. Through the introduction of new concepts, you will see how the Perception-Action Approach will enhance outcomes for infants and children with motor based respiratory, feeding, oral motor and speech disorders. In addition, the impact on a child’s ability to focus, attend and learn will be discussed. Please join us for this 1 hour webinar as we explore the Hips to Lips connection through the eyes of the Perception-Action Approach.

1.0 Continuing Education Hours will be awarded upon successful completion of this IPAA webinar. All virtual courses require attending the entire webinar, passing a post-test, and completing the course evaluation in order to receive CEUs and certificate of completion.

Ilene Sperling

MA, CCC/SLP, C/PAA-Instructor
Ilene Sperling, MA,CCC/SLP, is a Certified Perception-Action Approach Instructor who has specialized in working with infants, children and adults with movement, balance and coordination disorders and associated motor speech, feeding and respiratory/phonatory difficulties. She is highly regarded for her work using a body-centered approach integrated into intervention for cognitive, feeding and motor speech remediation.
Ilene has worked for over 40 years in a variety of practice settings. She is a Founding member of the Institute for Perception-Action Approach and is currently on the Board of Directors. She also holds Certification in Zero Balancing and Cranial Sacral Therapy and is PROMPT trained.
Ilene has presented many courses on the Perception-Action Approach, both nationally and internationally, with a focus on developing goals and intervention strategies for the Speech-Language Pathologist.
