Lisa JH Pinson PT, DPT, PCS is a pediatric physical therapist that started her career in her home state of New York at Blythedale Children’s Hospital. In her 21 years as a therapist she has worked in a variety of settings from intensive care to outpatient practice. She is a Founding Board member and currently Treasurer with previous experience as Chair of Marketing and a member of Course Management team for IPAA 2018-2019. In 2002 she moved to Phoenix to support her husband's flying career. In her 14 years in Arizona, Lisa founded the PEDI Center for Therapy and had the great opportunity to participate in a multi-site NIH funded study using the Perception -Action Approach in an intensive treatment model for young children with cerebral palsy through Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Lisa earned her APTA Board Certified Pediatric Specialist in 2009 and her transitional DPT in 2017. In 2016 she sold her practice and moved to Atlanta where her husband grew up to raise their three children around family. Currently she works in the Inpatient Rehab/ NICU and PICU at Children’s Health Care of Atlanta and in private practice.
