​The Role of Perception-Action in Learning: Implications for Assessment and Treatment of Children with Movement Disorders:  Introduction to Perception-Action Approach

Pediatric therapists are looking for the most effective, evidenced based interventions for their clients/patients.  One such intervention, supported by current research, is the Perception-Action Approach. This 1-hour live webinar highlights the theory of Perception-Action and its role in the developmental and therapeutic process.  The concepts of variability, environmental affordances, manual guidance and environmental set-up will be discussed. This alternative way of thinking will change your perception of how typically and atypically developing children acquire motor skills.
