Charlene M Fregosi, PT, PCS has practiced pediatric physical therapy since graduating from Pacific University, Forest Grove Oregon in 1978. She is an APTA Board Certified Pediatric Specialist. She has worked in variety of settings, including private practice, schools and clinics. She is currently employed at Tucson Medical Center , Tucson AZ , where she is a Clinical Instructor for DPT students and provides direct services for inpatient and outpatient clients from birth to 18 years. She is a Certified Instructor of the Perception-Action Approach (formerly, TAMO (Tscharnuter Akademie for Movement Organization) and presents courses and workshops on the Perception- Action Approach.  As one of the founders of the Institute for Perception-Action Approach , 501(3) (c) non profit,  Charlene serves as the Treasurer.   She is participating in a multi-site NIH funded study using the Perception -Action Approach in an intensive treatment model for young children with cerebral palsy. She is also certified to administer the Prechtl General Movement Assessment. which she utilizes in the TMC NICU follow-up clinic. Charlene utilizes a dynamic and interactive teaching style that respects and fosters adult learning.
